  • Dreamwheel “Redeemer” from Dreamwheel – A floating tapestry of dripping arpeggios, soaring choruses, and driving rhythms come together in  a new rock duo composed of long-time musical acquaintances and Europe-based artists Evan Linger (Skeletonwitch, Cultist) and Julia Gaeta. During the chaotic introspection of the pandemic, the pair bonded over their American roots and mutual love of big ‘80s choruses, murky shoegaze, and indie rock.
  • The Third Mind “Groovin’ Is Easy” from The Third Mind 2 – Featuring an all-star eclectic ensemble of like-minded musicians–Jesse Sykes (acoustic guitar, vocals); Dave Alvin (electric guitar); Victor Krummenacher (bass guitar); David Immerglück (guitar/harmonium/mellotron); and Michael Jerome (drums/percussion)– The Third Mind 2, this supergroup’s second album, reflects the band members varied musical histories with a “no safety parachute” recording approach using free-form studio techniques, no rehearsals, no preconceived arrangements, and recording spontaneous group improvisations live in studio.
  • FSOL “Future Testaments” from Environment 7.003 – FSOL present the final instalment in the Environments Trilogy. “7.003” goes deeper and darker than the previous two albums, the flavour here harping back with memories of the groups 90s sounding pre “Dead Cities” album. On this release we have swamp laden electronics dripping from cavernous breakbeats weaving in and out of otherworldly chords and strings firmly back in the driving seat. FSOL deliver not only the final piece of the jigsaw but a clever jaw-droppingly sensorium.
  • Smokey Robinson “How You Make Me Feel” from Gasms – GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter and Motown legend Smokey Robinson released his twenty-sixth studio album, GASMS, via TLR Music Group/ ADA Worldwide. The new nine-track album is Smokey’s first solo album in nearly a decade, featuring all new original songs written over the last five years.
  • Dave Graney ‘N’ The Coral Snakes “You’re Just Too Hip, Baby” from The Baddest – originally on Night of the Wolverine.
  • Harry Howard “Smile” from Harry Howard presents Smile, Starry Night – Smile and Starry Night were recorded during the Slight Pavilions sessions. They seemed to come from a different place to the other tracks. “I always intended to release them separately. Despite life getting seriously in the way work on Slight Pavilions II continues”.
  • Salmon “Punk Fatwa” from Rock Formations – 2007,  a high concept five guitar, two drummer, no lead vocal, instrumental hard rock band led by Kim Salmon. Clare Moore and Dave Graney are indians (as opposed to chiefs) in this outfit.
  • Mick Medew and Ursula “Evidently Boundary Street” from Love is Calling – another track from the new album
  • Jeff Gburek and A.J. Kaufmann “Indigo Blues” from Jazzisthmus – A.J. Kauffman and Jeff Gburek crossed paths in Poznan, Poland and found the time to collaborate on Jazzisthmus – A.J, the poet and unsung hero of the Polish psych / komische underground and Jeff Gburek, the stalwart of experimental guitar music and field recordings. Together, they have created an intriguing mix of improvised guitar, electronica and oddball sounds – a soundscape for the ages
  • Neural Dance “Return The Feeling” from Return The Feeling – new single from Neil and Co
  • Ombudsmen “Chutzpah” from Terms & Conditions Apply – new EP from the Manchester four piece
  • The Pinky Rings “Big Fang” from Big Fang – new single from the Austin Texas band
  • ZĀM “Source” from Ways Of Seeing – Waves of Seeing is the first release from ZĀM, the high octane guitar-bass-drums trio of Anthony Pirog (The Messthetics), Andrew Colwell, and Dan Sharnoff. The trio has been playing music together since they first met in public school in Vienna, Virgina 25 years ago. Rooted in structured improvisation and stretching the boundaries of genre ZĀM plays ‘hard ambient music’ navigating through noise, rock, ambient, new age, glitch, drone, hardcore, sludge, psychedelic, electronica and free music. Waves of Seeing sees the trio connect with several genres with a cinematic sensibility; swirling with electromagnetic aberrations,  sometimes in gruelling opposition and sometimes in delicate, meditative sympathy. Releasing on limited edition LP through Ramble and Echodelick Record (US) on Nov 24.
