  • A new EP, and the second the series, from Haverhills finest proponents of Shed Punk
• Michael James Pollard and Sioux Goddard – Have I Left It Much Too Late – Revolution
  • Originally from Derby, musician and photographer Michael moved to Manchester in his late teens to be amongst some of his favourite groups. After recording a Radio 1 session for John Peel he began writing and recording with Sioux Goddard and they came into contact with Lindsay Reade at Factory Records who helped get them an album deal with Fundação Atlântica. Over a two week period in 1984 they recorded eight tracks at Revolution studios in Cheadle. The album, however, was never released as the label hit financial difficulties and closed soon after. In 2020 a demo tape of Michael’s from 1981 was found in a charity shop in London and so began the unearthing of the lost recordings. Michael was introduced to German Shepherd in 2020 by DIslocation Dance frontman Ian Runacres with a view to getting this long lost album released.

• Fabels – Takko – Minds
  • Fabels are Hiske Weijers, Ben Aylward (plus live, guest performer Tim Powles/The Church) who play original, experimental, progressive, dreamscape music with dynamic arrangements. Formed in Sydney, late 2010, the band have toured extensively through Australia and Europe and have released two albums ‘Zimmer’ 2012, and ‘Hi’2016.

  • On St Louis, Missouri’s impeccably trashy, brashy and nasty Lumpy Records, The Mind are a Cleveland, Ohio group who with their second album Open Up The Window And Leave Your Body have emphatically twisted punk and rock music into something like how an extra-terrestrial would play it when they made first contact.

• Dumb Dumb Head – Desert of None – Single
  • Dumb Dumb Head is a new Alt Rock band from Auckland New Zealand. Two front men and prolific songwriters, Duncan Harwood (Happy Hearse, Bundy Lore) and James Castady-Kristament (JCK, Black Velvet Butterfly), “We’re not a comedy act, we’re just two musicians with a very warped sense of humour. We find it hard to keep our personalities out of our music, which is a good thing. We specialise in self depreciation, dream scape lyrics and Rock N Roll.”

Lunar Gardens’ only passing resemblance to the group’s 2019 debut Space Grade Assembly

• The Luvmenauts – Asteroid Mines of the Kuiper Belt – In Space
  • an eclectic Toronto-based collective dedicated to paying homage to the sounds of the past. They draw inspiration from film composers like Janko Nilovic, Piero Umiliani, and Alan Hawkshaw; while holding their sound accountable to the faceless dollar-bin, library music gems. The core band consists of Andrew Moljgun (keys), Josh Cavan (guitar), Alex Furlott (bass), and Jon Hyde (drums). together, they are on a mission to create soundtracks for films that never were.
• Peter Hammill – Film Noir – Patience
  • 13th studio album by Peter Hammill. It was released in August 1983 on Naive Records, a label founded by Gordian Troeller, the former manager of Hammill’s band Van der Graaf Generator. It was remastered in 1991 and released on Fie! Records. It was the second album to feature the collective known as the K Group (the first was Enter K) — Hammill, Guy Evans , John Ellis (of The Vibrators), and Nic Potter.

  • NYC-based quartet made up of Greg Fox (drums), Sasha Frere-Jones (guitar), Melvin Gibbs (bass), and Grey McMurray (guitar) – a team of musicians who’ve each built catalogues of projects falling on the axes of experimental music, jazz / fusion, and “rock” of all flavours. Their first full-length album The Work Is Slow quietly emerged in a digital edition in December, 2020, and Hausu Mountain released its first physical editions. The quartet’s music sits under the wide umbrella of instrumental rock, built on fluid structures of extended repetition, propulsive rhythmic interplay, and texture-focused performance. Though they could potentially take on the mantle of a “supergroup,” given their individual pedigrees, the members look at the project as the culmination of years of friendship through shared social circles in New York City, which organically took shape as they established their own vocabulary as an ensemble.
