    • Painted Shrines is a new project from Jeremy Earl of Woods and Glenn Donaldson of Skygreen Leopards. Their debut album is called Heaven and Holy released via Woodsist on March 5.

    • York band – new double release – full audience launch at Fulford Arms on 30th July. aka The Hunmanby Gap Sessions Volume I & II. All tracks played are from Vol 1 – more to follow from Vol 2 in future weeks
  • The Battery Farm – When The Whip Goes Crack – Single (2021)
    • When the Whip Goes Crack is the lead single from The Battery Farm’s forthcoming EP Dirty Den’s March of Suffering. It’s a song about the disappointment, disenfranchisement and self-loathing that comes about through having grown up to perceive yourself as a failure. A song about the fear of all your demons, both internal and external coming crashing in on you. That hot, ferocious fear.
  • Wanderlust – All A View – All A View (2021)
    • During their years together from 1992 to 1998, Wanderlust had a chart-topping single “I Walked,” opened for The Who, and were critically acclaimed by the Sunday Times, declaring the album ‘Prize” “one of the greatest rock records of all time. This year Wanderlust returned to the studio to record an 11 song album
  • The Gorstey Lea Street Choir – Up With The Larks – …from Prince’s Park to Farsley – Volume I (2021)
    • The Gorstey Lea Street Choir are Michael Clapham and Russ Phillips, two friends whose musical collaboration is rooted in a friendship that blossomed over 35 years ago. Having met as teenagers in the mid-’80s, it took until 2016 for them to turn their teenage plans — discussed back when both were involved in aspiring Manchester bands — into a reality with the birth of this project.
  • Van Der Graaf Generator – Nutter Alert – Live At Rockpalast – Leverkusen 2005 (2005)
    • Almost two years earlier, the four musicians of Van der Graaf Generator had already played with the idea of getting back together again. When Peter Hammill had a heart attack in 2003, he was not the only one feeling the urge to get that planned project to finally happen. “There had been a strong feeling of unfinished business”, David Jackson remembers. The here documented on DVD and 2CD gig at the Jazzfestival in Leverkusen the only one in Germany was meant to be the climax of the reunion-tour in 2005. The track was from the return album Present
