  • Six Orders of Admittance – Ben Chasny returns with the 20th Six Organs album….American guitar heroics and galactic postpunk, Popol Vuh-ish pastoralism and heavy psych.
  • Ron S Peno – Long renowned as one of Australia’s most soulfully distinctive rock vocalists, Peno (Died Pretty) has overcome illness to deliver, in a highly intuitive song writing collaboration with the Superstitions’ co-founder, guitarist and composer Cam Butler, a thrilling and sophisticated set of new songs certain to find their way into the hearts of audiences new to the band’s grandly uplifting songcraft and ecstatic live performances, as well as dedicated Superstitions fans. In passion of performance, in romantic rush and in sheer musicianship, Do the Understanding already bears the hallmarks of a new Australian classic, a timely record of difficulties met and addressed, and fresh hope glimpsed with clear eyes in unexpected places.
  • Deerhoof – a 35-minute, 43-song, live-in-the-studio covers medley album. The record is available now digitally, for free, via Joyful Noise on Bandcamp
  • Raphael Weinroth-Browne – Canadian cellist and composer a live version of his critically lauded solo debut, Worlds Within, on July 2nd. Initially released independently in January 2020, Worlds Within is a single composition divided into ten tracks which play out like movements in a classical variation set.
