  • Cult post-punks 1919 are back with Citizens of Nowhere: Their fourth studio album. Singing to the Universe Is the SIngle from it – Ding on bass
  • Filed Fangs return with a new single
  • Dominic Carlton Jones “Lockdown Machine” from Tales from the Lockdown Machine (2021)
  • Sarah McQuaid “The Sun Goes On Rising” Single (2021) – This is the final track that she is releasing as a publicly available single; the remaining 8 album tracks from the St Buryan Sessions will only be available for streaming and download after the album is released on 15 October. She feels like this is a good one to finish the single series with; it’s a bluesy, atmospheric song she co-wrote with Gerry O’Beirne over 10 years ago
  • Scientists – The Science of Suave – Veteran post-punk band The Scientists have announced their first studio album in 34 years, entitled ‘Negativity’. The 11-track record was made by most of the Australian band’s second lineup, which formed when The Scientists were based between Sydney and London in the early-to-mid 1980s. Mainstay member Kim Salmon is joined by lead guitarist Tony Thewlis, bassist Boris Sujdovic and drummer Leanne Cowie. This lineup previously played together on the band’s 1986 record ‘Weird Love’.
  • St Lucifer “The Witching Hour” from new album Deathcrush Palare (2021) from their third album on Analogue Trash Records – released July 2nd
  • Odd Circus – Maniac from Arch Nova – improvisational avant-rock trio Odd Circus released their EP on June 25th, 2021. Compiled from free improvisations performed live from July 22nd to July 30th, 2020, Arch Nova follows the recent release of the band’s critically lauded Mantha EP, featured on Aural Delights 436 and Aural Delights on the Overflow 61 and serves as the second instalment of a planned EP series.
  • Trialogos – Lavu Santu – Stroh Zu Gold (2021) New experimental/cinematic rock collective, Trialogos – formed by Conny Ochs, Sicker Man, and Kiki Bohemia during the pandemic over the past year – presents their debut LP, Stroh Zu Gold, marking Exile On Mainstream’s 100th title.
